Singapore – February 15, 2013 – ShiftRunner Pte. Ltd., the entertainment and social awareness company behind the innovative kids’ game Pandoo Nation, announced today the appointment of Michelle Waite as its Chief Marketing Officer.
Ms. Waite, most recently a senior marketing and business development professional at Intralox, has an established track record of success over a 20-year career at Intralox offices in the United States, Amsterdam, Shanghai and Singapore.
A versatile and creative communications specialist with an astute understanding of global business cultures, Ms. Waite managed and led an international team of high-performing sales and marketing professionals who consistently outperformed growth projections. She also demonstrated her entrepreneurial skills, leading teams into new markets with new products, establishing a foothold for her brand and then winning significant market share. She started her career as an entry-level marketing analyst at Intralox in 1993 and won a series of promotions over the years, before assuming a global role.
Ms. Waite joins ShiftRunner in its start-up phase and is responsible for developing and executing its marketing and public relations activities. She is the principal architect of the company’s go-to-market strategy for Pandoo Nation, which includes, among other things, the conversion of free-play visitors into paying subscribers. She will also ensure that ShiftRunner’s marketing strategies align with and support the objectives of Pandoo Foundation, the company’s non-profit sister organization.
